CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Beading Basics: 
Learn the basics of stringing and attaching a clasp using dependable construction techniques.  You’ll also receive an overview of tools and stringing materials.  Create a beautiful, one-of-a-kind necklace or bracelet (or both, if you have time).  As always, you may use in-store tools, bring your own, or purchase them.  All beads, findings and stringing materials are available in small quantities so you can buy only what you need for the project.  This is a fantastic class for people who would like to try beading for the first time without any investment in tools or excess materials.
CLASS FEE: FREE; You pay only for supplies, approximately 1 ½ - 2 hours long
(Supply costs start from about $15 per piece on up, depending on what materials are chosen.)

Basic Chandelier Earrings: 
Learn how to use your pliers to make loops on headpins and eyepins and attach earwires to create a pair of dangly chandelier earrings.  As always, you may use in-store tools, bring your own, or purchase them.  All beads, findings and stringing materials are available in small quantities so you can buy only what you need for the project.  This class is suitable for beginners.  
CLASS FEE: $10 + Supplies, approximately 1 hour long
(Supply costs start from about $5 per piece on up, depending on what materials are chosen.)

Intro to Flat Peyote Stitch:
 
Learn the basics of one-drop, even-count peyote stitch technique and begin work on a bracelet.  Most will need to finish the piece at home as this technique is beautiful but time-consuming.  This class is recommended for beaders who have at least a bit of beading experience and who are comfortable working with small seed beads and Delicas.   
CLASS FEE: $20 + Supplies, approximately 2 hours long
(Supply costs start from about $10 per piece on up, depending on number of colors and clasp chosen.)

Tubular Peyote Stitch:  Learn how to use one-drop, odd count peyote stitch to create a tubular peyote stitch bracelet.  Most will need to finish the piece at home.  This class is recommended for beaders who have a least some beading experience and who are comfortable working with small seed beads.
CLASS FEE: $20 + Supplies, approximately 2 hours long
(Supply costs start from about $10 per piece on up, depending on number of colors chosen.)

Intro to Wire Wrapping:  Create a wire-wrapped stone pendant.  You’ll learn to make wire loops, wrapped loops, spirals, and how to secure a stone in place. You may also add beads to your wire as embellishments if you choose.  This class is suitable for intermediate beaders and dexterous beginners.
CLASS FEE: $20 + Supplies, approximately 2 hours long

Floating Pearls or Crystals Necklace:
 
This technique gives the illusion that your beads are "floating".  Use pearls, crystals, or whatever you like to create a necklace.  This technique creates an elegant, delicate look that is perfect for bridal jewelry.  This class is suitable for beginners.     
CLASS FEE: $20 + Supplies, approximately 2 hours long
(Supply costs start from about $10 per piece on up, depending on beads chosen.)
Learn to make a Floating Pearls & Crystals Necklace; take the class!

 

Beaded Wine Charms Workshop:  Come make a set of beaded wine charms!  Learn how to attach dangles to the charms by using headpins and making a loop at the top.  Make them as ornate or as simple as you like!   
FREE!  You Just pay for supplies!  Takes approximately 1 hour.
(Supply costs vary based entirely upon the beads you choose to make the charms.)  
 
Come make some wine charms in the workshop!

Coraling:  Learn this beautiful technique and create a necklace or bracelet.  The technique is called coraling because it looks like branch coral.  Most people will need to complete the project at home.
CLASS FEE: $20 + Supplies, approximately 2 hours long.

Dangles Bracelet: Use stone beads, glass beads, Swarovski crystal beads or a combination of the three to make an eye-catching bracelet that showcases all of your favorite beads.  Most will find that they need to complete the project at home.  
CLASS FEE: $20 + Supplies, approximately 2 hours long.

Basic Wire Techniques:
 Learn how to make a simple loop, a wrapped loop and a spiral.  These are highly versetile techniques you can use to make earrings, bracelets, pendants, dangles and much more.

CLASS FEE: $15 + Supplies, approximately 1.5 hours long.

Embellished Wire-Wrapped Beads:
  Learn how to make these popular focal components using stone and Swarovski Crystal Beads.  Beginners welcome!

CUSTOM CLASSES ARE ALSO AVAILABLE!  If you'd like to learn a technique that you don't see listed, would like to learn a technique you do see listed at a different time, or just prefer to have one-to-one instruction, call and make an appointment for a custom class! Rates are $10 per hour of instruction plus supplies.  

CLASSES ARE DESIGNED FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN 14+.  However, exceptions will be made for younger beaders with some experience or those who are accompanied by a responsible adult.  If you’re not sure if a class is appropriate for you or your child please call and ask.

ALL MATERIALS MUST BE PAID FOR IN FULL BEFORE USE.
